I lived among the zillions of lives that God has created. And this is my chronicles...
But is this 'fantasy or fact' that you witness?

What does He mean?

Went for an x-ray @ CMPB this morning...

While waiting for my bus home...
This weird old man [probably 60 years old] sat next to me and started a conversation with me...

[old man]: What's the time?
[me] : 10am [Smile]
[old man]: really?
[me] : ya
[old man]: Now no bonus... how to work?
[me] : huh?
[old man]: No bonus. Don't work lor. Yesterday Lee Hsian Loong came? You know?
[me] : Oh? Issit?
[old man]: You know? Lee Kuan Yew's son. Lee Hsian Loong?
[me] : Ya...
[old man]: Now. Singapore companies no bonus. Lee Hsian Loong said. Don't work lor. No bonus no nothing. Work what? What's the point of working?
[me] : Ya ya
[old man]: You don't have much benefits at work, do you?
[me] : Me? Ok la.
Old man stand up and walks away...

Hmm... ????

Jesus is my ark...

Went to see 'The Days of Noah' @ GV Plaza Sing with Richard...
It had not come to my notice that the film was actually done by a Hong Kong Chinese church association. Wow...
The message was a real impact. The movie showed the details of how Noah's ark had rested on the Mount Ararat @ Turkey after the Great flood 5000 years ago. It was said that Mt Ararat was real holy. It even showed us that there has been occasions where red snow falled on the mountain and after, brought great harvest... but few years ago. the red snow happened... but the harvest wasn't a good one. A warning. A sign. A message... Archeologists even managed to dig out wood that is 5000+ years old... suggesting that it belongs to the 'Ark'... and they proved that God's greatest flood back then had killed civilsations or even buried them... Leaving an early Japanese civilisation under the sea. But some years back, the Turkey government had place an order that no one were to explore Mt Ararat due to military reasons. But there was this turkish guy who managed to do secret climbs and even found the entrance of the founding of the Ark... They was even one part of it where there were spiritual presence guarding the ark. The locals there called it the Satan Valley. The cameras had difficulty focusing it. It was really scary.

Guys. The end of days might seem very near. It must a reminder to me from 'Daddy'. We must start to have a sense of urgency to His people and God now. According to Pastor Ben, he said that there are 1/3 of Singaporeans(3-4 millions populations) who are christians... including the Catholics, i guess. That means around 1.5 millions singaporeans are not saved yet. Let's start throwing our life-saving ring floats to those people out there. We may be on Jesus' ark already but we are not to be selfish. Jesus' great commission awaits us...

Roughed Up To Grow Up

Learned something today...

Read:
Hebrews 12:1-11

Do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor detest His correction.
—Proverbs 3:11

Bible In One Year:
1 Chronicles 17-19

Many Christians have to be lovingly roughed up before they will grow up. Although the heavenly Father never allows His children to suffer needlessly, sometimes He lets them experience hard knocks so they'll become mature believers.

The need for "bad weather" to stimulate growth can be seen in nature. Scientists say that the seeds of some desert bushes must be damaged by a storm before they will germinate. They are covered with hard shells that keep out water. This allows them to lie dormant on the sand for several seasons until conditions are right for growth.

When heavy rains finally come, the little seeds are carried away in a flash flood. They are banged against sand, gravel, and rocks as they rush down the slopes. Eventually they settle in a depression where the soil has become damp to a depth of several feet. Only then do they begin to grow, for moisture is absorbed through the nicks and scratches they picked up on their downhill plunge.

Similarly, difficulties may be needed to wake up a sleeping saint. This may hurt for a while, but if we yield to the Lord we will find that life's bruises can mark the beginning of spiritual advances. We may prefer to remain "seeds," but He wants us to become "fruitful trees." —Mart De Haan

Should Thy mercy send me sorrow, toil, and woe,
Or should pain attend me on my path below,
Grant that I may never fail Thy hand to see,
Grant that I may ever cast my care on Thee. —Montgomery

Membership class...

HopeSingapore Membership Class

Membership class was very encouraging today...

Learnt a lot from Pastor Dinah and Pastor Ben...
Meihwa was LEADING 'PRAISE & WORSHIP' too... WOOO!!!.... LOL

Pastor Dinah taught us abt a lot. Eg.
  • 'The last place to be converted is your wallet'
  • Our church is as strong as the weakest member
  • Our church is not made up of superstars

Pastor Ben was explaining more on our church structure...
like we are a church movement. We do not have any denominations.
We are also not an independent church like CityHarvest or New Creations.
    I thought CityHarvest was 'charasmatic'?

Anyway, really had a great time there...

Was discouraged a couple of months ago... but Pastor Dinah taught me one thing...

'Regardless if we walk, run, skip, hop, jump, leap, fly (lots of faith)... We will reach the endpoint God has in store for us?'

    Amen? AMEN!!!

    Praise the Lord!!!

    It's blessed to be blessing...

My dad had gotten some food fair coupons for this Wesley Methodist Church located at Fort Canning Hill... It's their 120th anniversary... and they were doing some charity bazaar... so Richard, Ricky, Mummy, my Grandaunt and I went to have some fun... We had $300 worth of coupons, i think... Really didn't know how to spend them all. So I decided to bless my DI sisters... Had some popiah, laksa and snacks... It was crowded...

It's been so long since we last played pool together... and still he won me again... 3 vs 2... LoL

We reached Nexus at around 4 as Richard had ushering to do... Then after the youth ministry, there was this silly brother lying down outside the door... one leg slipper/one leg shoes... haha

LoL...Silly boy... While waiting for service to start, I blessed most of my DI family with lollipops and cutey bookmarks... ^_^

Today's service was by Pastor Ben!!! Yeay!!! Welcome back!! So long never see him already... Today's service was very informative. He said he was starting a new series for us... called the tabernacle series...

    "I'm trying to care...
    I know you have exams...
It's not that I dun wanna see you...
    I wanna see you too...
    You think I like this?
You assume I don't love you...
that I don't care about your feelings...
If I don't, why have i done so much?
If this is the much faith you have in me...
Forget it then... I'm not THE best guy then... BYE..."

    Noah's ark remains found?

Happened to bump into the GV website...
    and saw this...

The Ark has been buried under the ice atop the perpetually snow-covered Mount Ararat for thousands of years. A secret has been kept by a Kurds’ family over 4 generations in respect of the location of the suspected Arks’ remain. In 2004, the first Chinese expedition team made a ground-braking adventure onto the elevation of 4,200 meters of Mount Ararat and filmed the Noah’s Ark at the closest possible distance. Presenting the in-depth research made in eight countries interviewing scholars in Israel, Australia, USA, Canada, China, Egypt, Peru and Japan, the film reinforces the truth of the biblical accounts of the Deluge and the Ark from the perspective of history, archeology, meteorology, geology and ecology

Noah is one great man God used... You can read more abt him in the early chapters of the book of Genesis.

Anyone wanna watch the movie with me? Looking for Kaki-s now!!! ^_^

To any hoppies... Do take note...

An email forwarded from my ministry unit leader...
    God gave us water to...
    Dear leaders,

To-date, we have 99 people who have registered for the water baptism. Praise God!

The function room in the Costa Sands Resort can only seat 350 people. Thus, we can't have everyone to be in the room.

Instead, we encourage the following people to be in the function room:

Baptisees ・ family members and friends
1 accompanying member/care leader for each baptisee
    Baptisees ・ ULs and above

The rest of the CG members who want to support them can either go directly to the seaside (Area between barbeque pits 38-39) or wait outside the function room.

Refreshments will be provided outside the function room. The water baptism at the sea will start at about 4.15pm.

Looking forward to a great time of celebration!

Thank you for your understanding and support.

I'm a year old in the army...

Today marks my 1 year anniversary in the Singapore army...

Still remember the day when I first set foot on the Tekong island...

Bald, lonely, missing home, family & friends...

Indeed, the army has made me grown. Made me see many things...
Made me make new friends... made me rely Him more...

BMT was the most memorable period in my army life...
So fast, and I'm already a one year old army boy...

Thank God for we can thank Him...

I was waiting for bus to go home after work today...
       and suddenly...
A thought came to my mind....

What if there was no tomorrow, no oxygen,
    no Singapore, no earth,
    no you, no me,
    no nothing...

    nothing

Let's thank God that we can thank Him for He gave us life...
Let's praise God that we can praise Him for He gave us life...

I notice a lot of youngsters are like spoilt children nowadays...
They only care about playing, handphone and money...
They want it... [means they want it regardless what]...

Let's just think... what if you were told that God wants you dead tmr...
What are the real important things you wanna do?

*Live ya life to the fullest... Be thankful...*

He can create us... and He can also destroy us...

"Father Lord, Thank you for Your gracious love...
We really do not deserve all this...
For You even let Your son to die on the cross for us, for our sins...
For this, we Your children are more than thankful and grateful...
And we want to spread Your Word, and do Your will... for You Lord...
Thus we offer ourselves to Your service, Father...
Make full use of us, Lord, let Your will be done, Lord...
We ask u for Strength, and wisdom as
our own wisdom and strength cannot be compared to Your universal almightiness...
We are proud to be your children, Father...
And We are proud to praise and pray to you all these...
in our most greatest saviour's name,
    JESUS CHRIST...
    Amen"

    Jiabin's hospitalised...

A colleague of mine from my army camp just hospitalised...

    Jiabin is sick...

    His name is Jiabin...
    He's from CityHarvest...
And he's working to reachout to the Japanese society...
God Bless Him and the works thru Him...

    But for now,
He's hospitalised due to prolonged fever for these 2 weeks...
So serious that he was unable to get out of bed to see a doctor...
The doctor mentioned that he has lung & heart infections...

"Father Lord, I pray to you for healing for my brother Jiabin...
He has such a desire to serve you Lord... and for your people, Lord...
Thru You, you gave him grace, life and strength...
So now, I just wanna ask you to bless him with health...
So as he can do greater work for you Father,
For he glorifies You Father, He glorifies Ya name and word...
We have the faith you will cure him from his sickness...
and thus I leave him in your graceful hands,
So I pray this in our most gracious saviour & healer's name, Jesus Christ...
    Amen...
    "

*PS... JB, I'll be praying and fasting for you hor... Get well soon, alright ^_^

    I'm fasting today...

    Today's my first time fasting...
    Hungry... haha

    [To be continued...]

    Happy 40th Birthday, Singapore!!!

    It's Singapore's 40th Birthday today!!!
And it's also my first time fasting today... haha...
Fasting for the nation! ^_^ Fasting for peace and prosperity to our country!!!

We got together at the 'Ministry house' @ AMK at 5pm today...
where Donnie gave us a treat on his Pasta culinary skills...
Sumptious... Delicious... Yummy... [>_< But I was only break fast at 6pm]
Thanks Donnie... & Thank God for Donnie...

We also watched [X-men 2] on vcd while enjoying Donnie's blessings...

At 7pm, we left for the Esplanade... to see fireworks from the parade...
They were beautiful but they were kinda blocked in view by the trees... AND town was SUPER, and I really meant SUPER crowded...

After the fireworks at 8pm, we wanted to leave for Marina South to meet up with Joseph, Cedric & the rest... But I was so blur... and gave the wrong directions...
So we ended up at the far side of marina square... below Nicoll Highway...

And there was no way to get across the big "Singapore river"...
The way up the nicoll highway was extremely far away... [I think... suntec there]

So we decided to walk to Raffles Place to take the train there...
We got there at 9 and took a short shuttle in.... Just in time to see the 'Superstars' on stage...

The concert place lingered a smell of natural fertiliser though... so we didn't wanted to stay long... and headed to the coffee shop nearby for dinner...

    James Michael Fireworks2 Fireworks1

We joked and chatted alot at the coffee shop and Joseph & co joined us when the concert ended... I was surprised to see that they had actually received goodie bags from the concert... And Joseph & I were fooling around with the complimentary bandana... LoLx...

Kinda tired for one whole day of national celebration...
Am so glad i'm finally home...

GTG now... Happy Birthday again, Singapore!!!
