I lived among the zillions of lives that God has created. And this is my chronicles...
But is this 'fantasy or fact' that you witness?

Tell the world...?!?!

[Sing to the tune of Hillsong's Tell the World]

Lyrics by Cedric.

"Tell the World that Curry Puffs lives...
Tell the World that. Tell the World that.
Tell the World that it's ONE dollar...
Tell the World that it's leftover..."

[Sing to the tune of 'Reach out for the Skies']

Composed: Elaine Chan
Lyrics by: Tobias

"Chorus
Let's eat our chicken rice...
To see there's so much flies...
With cockroaches and mice...
How disgusting is the rice...

Let's reach out the rice...
But still there's so much flies...
plus dead roaches and mice...
I have no choice... but to eat my rice...

Ohhh.... Wooo... Eeeee..."

"Superstars"

The famous TV variety programme [which every corner of the streets has been talking about] which has beem running for the past 6-months, has finally come to an end today. The finals at the Singapore Indoor Stadium was captivating, touching and sensational. Kelly & Kelvin had presented their best front of themselves to Singaporeans for the love of music. Seeing the previous runner-ups performing on the stage again was also very encouraging... It came to a point where we all realised this Superstar craze which has lasted for 6 months have finally come to a full stop. Performances after performances. Encouragement after encouragement. Tears after tears. The contestants have gone thru alot of struggles with they themselves and their competitors. Performing their best. Trying to earn recognition. Trying to reach their dreams.

Suddenly, while watching the show... I suddenly recall my performances years back. In my secondary school, In my polytechnic and national competitions i had took part... Coming together with friends, with the same interest and dreams... finishing our act on stage for the applause from the audience. That feeling was great. We were not doing it for the prize... But for the friendship among us, for the love of music/drama.

For those who never knew, in my youth... I used to be someone who went all crazy for the love of music. I took part in singing competitions, talentimes, tv programmes... Got championship or made loads of friends with the same interest. A few to name would be Sing Singapore, where I knew 王福华. He is the guy who sang for NDP few years back. But now, he isn't famous anymore. In Y人王 [a talentime tv programme back during the year 2k, quite similar to superstar], I got to know Maia Lee... Yes, Maia Lee from Singapore Idol. I even know 孙燕姿 when I was learning music in 李伟松's music school. These are people who kept persuing the dream of music, years after years. Me? I chose to give up. Why? Well, persuing the dream of music is... well, being an idol in another words. People do say I have a good voice. But, I know I don't have the looks. We all know how this world works, so face it. Also, bringing up an idol cost a lot of money... Through this Superstar programme, the media has brought out a star without spending a cent on publicity, vocal training and stage training.

But well, honestly... a year after today, would you still remember the Superstar that was once so famous around every corner of the streets in Singapore? However, I had learned one thing from the guys from Superstar and from those 'friends' of mine, if I have a dream, i should go all out to accomplish it... or else... i'll regret never experiencing how it would be like to accomplish a 'dream'....

My usual phrase again. [Regardless whoever is the ultimate superstar for this programme isn't important. Cause all of them have already possessed the traits of a superstar! Congratulations!]

*Youth is such a precious thing... 我老了。不认老也不行了。
