Happenings after Christmas Services

Hi fellas,
It was great fun meeting up with you guys for dinner just now, especially after the first work week of the year 2006.

Well, to disseminate the information as mentioned during the dinner.
The following are the list of who shall brings what for the 'picnic service'.

Chiew Fang - Jelly [Agar agar]
Hebe & Amber - Sandwiches
Giselle, Denis & Shelby - Tibits, Keropok, Potato Chips
Jingqi - Drinks
Yolanda & Seth - 'Old Chang Kee' sticks
Charlie & Tian Han - Potato Salad.
Jerry - Fruit Salad
Jennifer & Huixian - Curry Puffs
Gerald - Pizza
Tobias - Sushi & Onigiri [Japanese Rice Balls]

Those who aren't in the list, pls do update me with what you are gonna bring by Saturday night.

On the other hand, I seek ya help on providing or helping out in the following items.
1) Picnic Mats
2) Music player (Eg. Radio, Mp3 player with speakers)
3) Activities (Can someone come up with games or bring balls, kites, etc) We might need a game committee. Pretty please...
4) Trash bags, serviettes, cups, fork

Regarding the venue,
We have discussed that it's probably 'Fort Canning Hill' or 'Botanical Gardens'

But in the case of raining season, maybe we can settle at Istana Park? ... Where there is shelter and tables?

Lastly, for the ladies, maybe... pls do remember to bring some medicated oil or mosquito repellent since we are out in the greens. A hat or suntan lotion might keep u off from the sun too.


That will be all then.

Oh, by the way, I am not the in-charge for this event.
I'm just assisting the leaders... that's all.

Dress code: Anything blue for NG6
Do note that we are to bring a gift for each new believer and pre believer.
Also, each care group or unit is to organise a picnic lunch after service.  This will flow with the theme of the service.

Happy New Year to ALL!!!

Had a CG countdown party at one of the Salvation Army office at Havelock. And that's like just one block away from my house... Hehe. But I had to meet up with Gerald in the morning to prepare for the food competition. We were told to prepare fried rice. And I came up with the idea of 'Pineapple Fried Rice'. But Jerry[Who was the actual in-charge] had to go back for guard duty. So that leaves only Gerald and me to plan everything. Yolanda kindly provided us her home keys to access her kitchen... Initially, we were very negative on what we could produce. But I tried not to show it and prayed... so here's the results... Sorry that I don't have the pics for the party!!!
