I dun have digi-cam & so i nvr take photo of my CG's ORD chalet...
But it was kinda fun...

The guys slept together most of the time...
Interest way of fellowshipping... haha

Our chalet was a 4-room bungalow chalet...
with no walls surrounding the living hall...
 
Didn't like that feeling. Felt exposed...



The BBQ on tuesday was nice...
but i felt that the chalet and food was just too big for only the 8 of us.
Despite we had 3 special guests. Lean Choo, BerBer Lim & Chiew Fang.

Things this week is fine...

These are real life creatures bio-engineered called GenPets.
Here's some description from the company itself...

"Are Genpets Real?
Genpets are living, breathing mammals. Bio-Genica is a Bioengineering Company that has combined, and modified existing DNA to create the Genpets lineup. Genpets are flesh and blood just like any other animal.

Genpets are packaged like toys though.
Genpets are designed to be sold on retail store shelves, not traditional pet stores. This is why they are packaged in plastic.

How?
We use a process called "Zygote Micro Injection" which is quickly becoming a favourable method to combine DNA, or to insert certain proteins from different species. Most notably it was used in 1997 to splice mice with bioluminescent jellyfish and has since been used to create glowing rabbits, pigs, fish, and monkeys. Since then, human DNA has been injected into chimpanzees, spider into sheep, and now, Genpets have arrived."

Is bioengineering this far advanced?

Having many Singaporeans responded to MrBrown’s call to record a message for National Day, I decided to come up with my own pod cast. (This isn't my virgin podcast, I've done audio blogging months b4 podcasting became a fad.) I have a unique name. So unique that I myself dunno how to pronounce it correctly yet.
People say I dun look local. But in fact, I am...
I'm born in Singapore... and have lived in a HDB flat...
Though I have Japanese bloodline but I have relatives who are Nonya and also yaya...
I love the local food here. But sumtimes i prefer healthier food (JapanesE)
Just like the metropolitan Singapore, I have learnt to speak many languages.
I speak good english. But some people say I 'jiak kan tang' (eat potato)
I'm currently serving my National Service. but am going to ORD soon.
I want to pursue a degree but I have no money.
And so I am heading to NIE.
I go to a church, not because I have to. But I want to.
Sometimes I hate living in Singapore, because my frens and I agree that Singapore has nothing much left to play
I hate the local entertainment... cause they're always copying others.
I am inspired by the NDP held every year. And thus, perhaps appear patrotic only around the month of August.
I have also made blogging and handphone collecting as pastimes

Finally the crazy world cup everyone in this universe is chasing after is OVER...
Staying up late just to see a group of different country/language/culture people chasing after a small ball...
So what if Italy wins... None of my business wad?!?!
I don't gamble... nor do i go crazy over balls?
But wow... Zidane headbutting that Italian guy was a real headliner...
I got stunned when i saw the clip on cNa...
Gosh... Men just go crazy over balls...

Today, the stupid TAXI companies in Singapore raise their cab fare so bizarringly... I feel like boycotting taxis from now on!!! Stoopid... the usual 240 becomes 250 now...
And peak hour's surcharge rises from $1 to $2!!! I pay $4.50 just upon getting onboard a CAB!!! This is crazy!!! This is daylight robbery!!! Arrghhh... screw the taxis committee in Singapore. They're just making the poor uncles and ah gongs lose their rice bowls...
