Disappointment...

Is the following equation correct?

disappointment = expectations(not met)?

A lot of my friends are facing this problem lately...
"Disappointment..."
From friends, relatives... and maybe God...

How do u handle ya disappointment?
Do u trust in the Lord on ya disappointments?
